Placements24 is seeking an enthusiastic Food & Beverage Supervisor to join a leading hotel in Bloemfontein. You will oversee daily operations across restaurants, bars and banqueting, ensuring superb service and top quality for every guest.

The ideal candidate has proven F&B leadership experience, a valid Food Handler's certificate, and the ability to train staff, control costs, monitor inventory, and uphold hygiene and safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Food & Beverage Supervisor in Hospitality & Tourism.
• Strong knowledge of F&B operations, including service techniques, menu planning, and cost control.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
• A valid Food Handler's certificate is required.
• Experience with POS systems and inventory management software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the daily operations of the hotel's restaurants, bars, and banqueting services, ensuring efficiency and quality.
• Manage and train Food & Beverage staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
• Ensure all service standards, hygiene regulations, and safety protocols are strictly adhered to.
• Monitor inventory levels, control costs of goods sold, and manage beverage stock effectively.
• Handle guest inquiries and complaints, resolving them promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction.
• Collaborate with the Executive Chef and management team on menu development and promotional activities.
