Job summary

MyCareerCraft is seeking an External Sales Representative (Technical / parts) in Gauteng to expand the customer base and drive profitable sales growth. The role covers management of key accounts, stock coordination, and pricing support across the Pretoria region.

The candidate will work with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure stock availability, promote products, and resolve customer queries while achieving monthly targets and profitability standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma / Certificate (NQF 5 or equivalent).
• Approx. 3 years experience in external sales within manufacturing, FMCG or distribution.
• Computer literate (MS Office and ERP/SAP systems).
• Valid driver's licence.

Responsibilities

• Source and open new customer accounts.
• Grow and manage existing accounts to meet monthly sales targets.
• Monitor sales performance and implement corrective actions.
• Drive promotions and marketing initiatives to increase market share.
• Coordinate with warehouse and logistics to ensure stock availability.
• Support customers with stock management, pricing, and product training.
• Assist with credit control and follow up on outstanding payments.
• Monitor gross profit and ensure pricing structures remain correct.
• Maintain strong customer relationships and resolve queries efficiently.
