Kontak Recruitment is seeking an External Sales Rep for the automotive aftermarket to grow a territory including Johannesburg area and surrounding regions. This field-based role offers independence, strong operational support and commission for achieving targets.

You'll grow new dealership and fleet business, manage existing customers, conduct face-to-face product demonstrations, and travel across the Germiston region and beyond as required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years external B2B sales experience.
• Proven new-business development and cold calling experience.
• Account management, upselling and cross-selling experience.
• Valid South African driver's licence.
• Willing to travel extensively in territory and occasional country trips.
• Able to work independently and manage a large sales territory.
• CRM experience would be advantageous.
• Experience in automotive aftermarket/vehicle tracking/parts would be advantageous.
• Strong communication, negotiation, closing and administration skills.
• Professional presentation suitable for dealership environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop new dealership and fleet business.
• Cold-call, prospect and visit potential customers.
• Engage Dealer Principals, Sales Managers, Parts Managers and fleet owners.
• Conduct face-to-face product demonstrations.
• Manage and grow an existing customer portfolio.
• Plan daily visits, travel routes and customer call cycles.
• Prepare quotations, process orders and follow up with clients.
• Record sales activity and pipeline progress on Pipedrive CRM.
• Submit weekly sales and pipeline reports.
• Attend relevant automotive and promotional events.
• Check in at the Germiston office daily and manage field activities independently.

External Sales Rep (Automotive Aftermarket) - Germiston.

Grow an automotive aftermarket sales territory through new dealership and fleet business while managing an existing customer base.

This field-based role offers independence, strong operational support and commission for achieving targets.

Territory: Johannesburg, Vereeniging, Sandton, West Rand and surrounding areas, extending to Potchefstroom and Klerksdorp.

Salary: R30 000 basic per month. Quarterly commission, company vehicle, cellphone, laptop and provident fund after probation.

Minimum Requirements:
