Overview

SALES EXECUTIVE /EAST LONDON - Our client is seeking a highly motivated, commission-driven Sales Executive with a proven track record in technical sales, particularly within the solar, renewable energy, electrical, or related industries. This role is suited to a confident "hunter" salesperson who thrives on generating new business, building relationships, closing deals, and earning substantial commission through performance.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 / Matric (essential).
• Driver’s license and own vehicle required
• Minimum 3 years external sales experience
• Strong understanding of: Solar energy systems; inverters; power conversion systems; Battery storage technologies; Energy generation, storage, and consumption; Electrical components; Energy efficiency and renewable energy concepts.
• Relevant qualification in Sales, Marketing, Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field will be advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

• Proactively identify and secure new business opportunities
• Promote and sell Electric Vehicles, charging solutions, and related products.
• Educate customers on EV technology, charging infrastructure, battery systems, and vehicle performance.
• Leverage existing knowledge of solar energy systems, inverters, batteries, and energy conversion to advise customers effectively.
• Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to prospective clients.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with commercial, industrial, and private customers.
• Prepare quotations, proposals, and sales contracts.
• Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets and KPIs.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments within the renewable energy and EV sectors.
• Provide exceptional after-sales service and customer support.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions.
