RecruitMyMom is seeking an experienced B2B Sales Representative to drive regional revenue growth in Gauteng. This on-site role involves onboarding installers, electrical contractors, and commercial buyers with a 3-month fixed-term contract and travel across the region.

A leading national distributor of solar hardware, energy storage systems, and renewable power solutions, backed by nationwide distribution hubs, extensive stock availability, and dedicated technical support, is seeking an experienced, high-performing B2B Sales Representative. This is a full-time, 3-month fixed-term contract based on-site with travel required across the Gauteng region, offering a direct transition path to permanent placement for top performers.

The role focuses on driving regional revenue growth, actively managing key trade accounts, and onboarding new certified solar installers, electrical contractors, and commercial buyers across Gauteng.

Responsibilities:

• Account Development & Acquisition: Proactively identify, target, and onboard regional solar installers, electrical contractors, and commercial trade accounts.
• Portfolio & Relationship Management: Nurture and retain allocated key accounts to drive consistent order volumes, increase repeat business, and maximise portfolio growth.
• Field Sales & Client Visits: Conduct regular, structured in-person client visits, product updates, and technical touchpoints across your designated region.
• Pipeline & Target Management: Actively manage your sales pipeline to meet and exceed monthly revenue targets.
• Issue Resolution & Support: Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, collaborating with internal technical, stock, and logistics teams to ensure prompt resolution and maintain smooth momentum.

Requirements

• Experience: Proven track record in B2B external sales, business development, or technical key account management (experience in solar, electrical hardware, renewable energy, or technical distribution is highly advantageous).
• Culture & Mindset: Highly practical, self-directed self-starter with strong ownership, personal accountability, and resilience in a fast-paced environment.
• Communication & Judgement: Direct, transparent communicator who addresses challenges early, takes feedback professionally, and focuses on solutions rather than excuses.
• Technical Aptitude: Proficient with CRM software and MS Office tools.
• Mobility: Valid South African Driver’s License and a reliable personal vehicle suitable for field visits and client travel.
• Location: Based within reasonable commuting distance of the regional office/hub.

Benefits

• Basic Salary: R15 000 – R30 000 per month (negotiable based on experience).
• Vehicle & Fuel Allowances: R4 000 Car Allowance + R4 000 Fuel Allowance per month.
• Commission: Uncapped monthly commission paid on total sales generated across your allocated accounts/customers.
