The candidate will manage relationships with international customers, lead the sales team, and oversee export documentation, customs compliance and shipping. Travel internationally is required.

Qualifications

• Matric is required; relevant tertiary qualifications will be advantageous.
• 5-10 years of relevant sales experience, preferably at management level.
• Proven experience managing international/export sales operations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute international sales strategies to grow export revenue and market share.
• Manage and strengthen relationships with international customers and distributors.
• Identify new export markets and business development opportunities.
• Lead, mentor and develop the International Sales team.
• Manage export documentation, customs compliance, permits and shipping requirements.
• Coordinate with customers, suppliers, freight forwarders, customs officials and internal departments.
• Resolve export, logistics, documentation and customs-related challenges.
• Develop sales targets, forecast demand and negotiate commercial agreements.

This senior-level position forms part of the organisation’s succession planning strategy and offers an opportunity to play a key role in the continued growth and expansion of its international markets.

• 5-10 years’ relevant sales experience, preferably at management level
