Job summary

Bedforview-based client is seeking an Exports Clerk to be a part of their dynamic team.

Responsibilities include capture/processing of export bookings on SOL, broadcasting notices to shippers, monitoring bookings and vessel stacks, completing preloading for vessels, handling shipping instructions, proofreading bill of lading data and obtaining customs documents.

The role requires a minimum NQF level 6 and maritime experience, plus strong computer skills and effective communication.

• Monitor bookings and vessel stacks.

• Receive and pass Shipping Instructions to the Mapping division for data capture.
• Proofreading and amendments to bill of lading data.
• Obtaining relevant shipping customs documents (cargo dues order/export bill of entry) from shippers.
