Exceed HR and Recruitment in Paarl is seeking an Executive Manager (Ecommerce & Production) to lead integrated retail, ecommerce and production operations and to drive growth and profitability across the business. You will oversee product development, procurement, merchandising and distribution, while building a customer-focused organization with strong service levels and scalable systems.

Job description

Executive Manager (Ecommerce & Production) required in Paarl.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead and integrate retail, e-commerce and production operations.
• Drive the growth and development of the e-commerce and commercial environment.
• Oversee product development, production, procurement, merchandising and retail.
• Manage warehousing, fulfilment and distribution operations.
• Build a customer-focused business with strong service, people and systems.
• Manage Profit and Loss, budgets, revenue, margins and long-term profitability.
• Monitor inventory, costs, service levels and overall operational performance.
• Identify new products, growth opportunities and practical business improvements.
• Lead, develop and motivate a multidisciplinary management team of approximately 100 people.
• Use data, technology and AI to improve efficiency and scale.
• Stay up to date with local and international trends and translate them into business opportunities.

Requirements:

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Business Management, Commerce, Finance, Economics, Marketing, Engineering or MBA.
• Relevant commercial experience in a senior leadership role.
• Proven Profit and Loss experience in e-commerce or an integrated commercial environment.
• Strong entrepreneurial mindset and commercial acumen.
• Proven ability to lead and develop large, multidisciplinary teams.
• Good understanding of e-commerce technology, data, digital platforms and AI.
• Strong ability to turn strategy into measurable actions and results.
• Hands-on approach with a strong focus on quality, product and detail.
• Fluent in English and Afrikaans.
• Willingness to travel internationally several times per year.
