Placements24 is seeking a strategic Lead Industrial Engineer for our Richards Bay facility to steer operational improvement initiatives. You will lead a team of engineers, define goals for process optimization, and drive productivity, efficiency, and cost reduction across operations.

The role requires a hands-on leader with strong stakeholder influence, deep experience in Lean, Six Sigma, and advanced simulation. Relocation support may be provided for the right candidate.

Formación

• Master's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in industrial engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma (Black Belt preferred), and project management methodologies.
• Proven track record of leading complex process improvement initiatives and delivering measurable results.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with advanced simulation and optimization software.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and mentor a team of industrial engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
• Develop and execute the overall strategy for operational excellence and process optimization.
• Oversee the design, implementation, and monitoring of large-scale process improvement projects.
• Conduct advanced data analysis and modeling to identify strategic opportunities for operational enhancement.
• Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensure rigorous tracking and reporting.
• Collaborate with senior management to align operational goals with business objectives.
