JVR Software seeks a seasoned General Manager to drive P&L performance across revenue, costs, and margins in a heavy manufacturing context. The role emphasizes strategic planning, production efficiency, and strong leadership across departments.

Responsibilities include leading rolling mill operations, procurement, and sales strategy, while maintaining ISO/SHEQ standards and cultivating key stakeholder relationships. Willingness to relocate to Mauritius is required.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Metallurgy or related Industrial discipline.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in the steel, rolling mill, or heavy manufacturing industry.
• At least 5 years in a senior management or General Management role.
• Proven experience managing P&L, budgeting, financial performance and working capital.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience in sales, pricing strategies, procurement, imports and trade finance.
• SHEQ systems knowledge and ISO standards familiarity.
• Excellent leadership, decision-making, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong business development and operational management capabilities.
• Willingness to relocate to Mauritius.
• Must be willing to undergo annual medical examinations, including eye, hearing and lung assessments.

Responsabilidades

• Own full accountability for the business’s profit and loss performance, including revenue growth, costs, gross margins, and EBITDA.
• Develop and execute strategic business plans, annual budgets, and objectives.
• Drive production efficiency, product quality, plant reliability, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead rolling mill operations, maintenance strategies, and production planning to hit targets.
• Drive sales growth, pricing strategies, tender processes, and key customer relationships.
• Oversee procurement for billets, consumables, spares, and imported materials.
• Manage working capital, debtors/creditors, FX exposure, loans and letters of credit.
• Ensure SHEQ compliance and maintain ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 certifications; pursue additional accreditations.
• Build and mentor a high-performing management team; foster positive workplace culture.
• Maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, financial institutions, regulators and stakeholders.
• Monitor performance and implement strategies to improve profitability, efficiency, and sustainability.
