Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an Events Sales Executive for our Bloemfontein venue to drive bookings for banquets, conferences, and other events. You will identify opportunities, build corporate client relationships, and tailor solutions to client needs.

The role requires a proactive, results-driven sales approach with strong communication and negotiation skills, leveraging CRM tools to hit targets in a hybrid work setup across the Free State event market.

Qualifications

• Proven sales experience in hospitality, events, or venue management.
• Ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the events market to achieve sales targets.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, event planners, and potential customers.
• Conduct site inspections and present venue capabilities and service offerings effectively.
• Negotiate contracts and pricing to secure profitable event bookings.
• Collaborate with the events team to ensure seamless handover and execution of booked events.
• Prepare sales reports and forecasts accurately and timely.
