Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a proactive Event Sales Executive to drive new business for its Sandton venues in Gauteng. The role blends remote client engagement with regular on-site meetings, venue tours and participation in key events to maximise bookings and revenue.

You will generate leads, deliver compelling proposals, nurture existing clients and negotiate contracts to ensure profitability. A proven sales track record and strong communication, combined with a solid understanding of event

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience in sales, preferably within hospitality, events, or venue management.
• Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
• Strong understanding of event planning and venue operations.

Responsibilities

• Generate leads and actively pursue new business opportunities for event bookings.
• Develop and deliver compelling proposals and presentations to potential clients.
