Placements24 is seeking an experienced Event Sales Manager to lead the corporate and social events division in Port Elizabeth. You will drive revenue from venue bookings, conferences, weddings, and other special events, prospect leads, nurture client relationships, and negotiate contracts to hit ambitious targets.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience in event sales or a related role within hospitality or venue management.
• Proven success in meeting and exceeding sales quotas.
• Excellent negotiation, presentation, and closing skills.
• Strong knowledge of the events industry and venue capabilities.
• Proficiency in CRM software and sales management tools.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales for all event spaces, achieving and exceeding revenue targets.
• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to attract new event clients.
• Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to contract signing and follow-up.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and offering tailored solutions.
• Collaborate with the event planning and operations teams to ensure flawless event execution.
• Prepare detailed proposals, presentations, and contracts for prospective clients.
