Placements24 is seeking an Event Sanitation Coordinator on a contract basis in East London, Eastern Cape. You will plan, implement, and oversee sanitation for a variety of events, coordinating on-site teams and liaising with venues and vendors to ensure hygiene and safety.

The role requires hands-on operations management, strong organizational skills, and the ability to travel within the East London area. A background in hospitality or event management is preferred, with hybrid work flexibility

Responsabilidades

• Develop and implement detailed sanitation plans for all assigned events, considering venue specifics and attendee numbers.
• Coordinate on-site sanitation teams, including setup, maintenance, and breakdown of facilities.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, waste receptacles, and other sanitation-related equipment for events.
• Ensure compliance with all venue regulations and health and safety standards during event execution.
• Liaise with venue management, caterers, and other event vendors to address sanitation requirements.
• Conduct pre-event, during-event, and post-event inspections to ensure high standards of cleanliness.
• Oversee waste management and recycling efforts during events.
• Respond to and resolve any sanitation issues or emergencies that arise during events promptly.
• Prepare event sanitation reports, including feedback and recommendations for future events.
• Manage the budget allocated for event sanitation services.
