Placements24 is seeking an imaginative and meticulous Event Coordinator to plan and execute events at a premier Richards Bay venue. You’ll liaise with clients, vendors, and internal teams to deliver memorable experiences from concept to on-site management and post-event follow-up.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Event Coordinator or in a similar event management role.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with clients to understand event needs, objectives, and budget constraints.
• Develop event proposals, timelines, and comprehensive execution plans.
• Source and manage vendors, including caterers, decorators, and AV suppliers.
• Oversee event logistics, including setup, staffing, scheduling, and on-site management.
• Ensure events are executed within budget and meet quality standards.
• Conduct post-event evaluations and client debriefs.
