Placements24 in Randburg is seeking an Event Catering Supervisor to lead on-site catering operations for a range of events. You will oversee setup, service and breakdown, ensuring top-quality food presentation and customer service while coordinating a frontline team.

This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and thorough knowledge of food safety. You will work flexible hours including evenings and weekends and act as the primary client contact during events.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in event catering, hospitality, or a supervisory role.

Responsibilities

• Act as the liaison between the client and the catering team during the event, addressing needs and resolving issues.
• Conduct pre-event briefings with staff to ensure all requirements are understood and communicated.
• Maintain a safe and hygienic work environment during events, adhering to all food safety regulations.
