Job summary

Swoop in Eswatini is seeking a Country Manager to own P&L, growth and operations in Eswatini, reporting to international leadership.

You will lead local teams across marketing, store acquisitions, driver operations, and partner relationships, with expansion into new services beyond food delivery.

This role requires relocation to Eswatini, with a compensation package including salary USD 2,800–3,800 per month, a performance bonus, equity and benefits.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in B2C management for food delivery, ridehailing, or other marketplace platforms.
• Startup mindset with high ownership and hands-on attitude.
• Excellent English communication; Siswati or local languages a plus.
• 2+ years in managerial roles, ideally in Eswatini or SA.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the Eswatini budget, including revenue, costs, and profitability.
• Track performance, forecast growth, and report to international leadership.
• Scale KPIs (orders, GMV, active users, delivery performance) and drive improvement.
• Localise strategy with international leadership and allocate resources.
• Develop store/partner relationships and negotiate terms.
• Oversee driver operations, marketing & growth, and store acquisition.
