About the Role

Our client, a globally recognized manufacturer of specialized electronic equipment, is seeking an experienced Senior Electronics Repair Technician to join their remote technical support team. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from home anywhere in South Africa. You will be responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing complex electronic assemblies and components submitted for service. Key Responsibilities

Requirements

• A National Certificate or Diploma in Electronic Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in electronic circuit repair and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in using a wide range of electronic test and measurement equipment.
• Strong ability to read and interpret electronic schematics and component datasheets.
• Expertise in soldering and de-soldering various types of electronic components, including surface-mount devices (SMD).
• Solid understanding of digital, analog, and power electronics.
• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Good written and verbal communication skills, essential for remote collaboration.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• A reliable home office setup with good internet connectivity is required.
