Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking Sales Development Representatives across South Africa to open doors and drive pipeline. You will own the top of the funnel by researching accounts, identifying decision makers, and booking meetings with qualified prospects.

Ideal candidates have 2 years in SDR/BDR, strong written communication, and experience with outbound tools. This is a full-time remote role based in South Africa with room to grow within the sales organization.

Qualifications

B2B sales experience preferred with quota carrying background.
2 years in SDR/BDR or similar role; agency or SaaS experience a plus.
Strong written communication and ability to personalize outreach.
Familiarity with outbound tools such as Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.

Responsibilities

Source and research ideal accounts based on ICP.
Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
Book qualified discovery calls for Account Executives.
Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
Test messaging and optimize targeting with the sales team.
