Job summary

Sabenza IT & Recruitment is seeking an experienced Network & Service Operations Engineer to lead hands-on enterprise network and security operations. You will manage critical infrastructure, drive incident response and coordinate vendors to restore services quickly.

In this role you will optimise WAN/SD-WAN, firewall and VPN deployments, monitor security events, and produce design documents and risk registers for governance and reporting to executives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in Network Security Engineering in large enterprise environments.
• Hands-on expertise with firewalls, VPNs, and NAC technologies.
• Experience leading P1/critical incidents and incident management.
• Ability to coordinate multiple vendors and providers.
• Experience producing LLDs and security standards documentation.

Responsibilities

• Support enterprise WAN and SD-WAN environments.
• Manage firewalls, VPNs, and NAC technologies.
• Monitor network security events, logs and traffic.
• Lead P1 and critical incidents and drive restoration.
• Coordinate vendors and managed service providers.
• Develop LLDs, implementation plans and risk registers.
• Provide updates to technical teams and executives.
