Job summary

First Point Group is hiring a Network Security Engineer to provide technical leadership across enterprise networking and security. The role covers security operations, incident management, vendor coordination and stakeholder engagement within a complex enterprise environment.

The successful candidate will manage firewalls, VPNs, NAC, network segmentation and cloud connectivity, driving security improvements and incident response across global networks.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of Network Security Engineering experience in enterprise environments.
• Strong experience with WAN/SD-WAN, firewalls and VPN technologies.
• Experience in incident management, service assurance and governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead network security operations and critical incident management.
• Coordinate P1 and other critical network/security incidents with teams and vendors.
• Develop and maintain Low-Level Designs (LLDs) and implementation plans.
• Validate segmentation and security controls; perform hardening reviews.
• Engage with stakeholders and manage documentation and risk registers.
• Support secure cloud connectivity and hybrid network environments.

WE ARE HIRING: NETWORK SECURITY ENGINEER

We are looking for an experienced Network Security Engineer to provide technical leadership across enterprise networking and network security environments.

The successful candidate will be responsible for network security operations, critical incident management, vendor coordination, service assurance, and stakeholder engagement within a complex enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support enterprise WAN and SD-WAN environments.
• Manage and support firewalls, VPNs, and secure remote access solutions.
• Support Network Access Control (NAC) technologies.
• Monitor network security events, logs and suspicious traffic.
• Support secure cloud connectivity and hybrid network environments.
• Identify network and security vulnerabilities, risks and control gaps.
• Troubleshoot complex network and security incidents.
• Conduct firewall ruleset reviews and network security assessments.
• Validate network segmentation and associated security controls.
• Conduct network hardening and security architecture reviews.
• Manage firewall policy implementations and security changes.
• Coordinate SD-WAN security policy deployments.
• Implement and manage network segmentation.
• Lead and coordinate P1 and other critical network/security incidents.
• Drive service restoration and coordinate technical teams and vendors.
• Support root cause analysis and post-incident reviews.
• Coordinate multiple technology vendors and managed service providers.
• Engage with technical and executive stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5+ years of Network Security Engineering experience, preferably within complex enterprise environments.
