Job summary

Boardroom Appointments seeks a Data Migration Consultant to lead data migration efforts for ROA-FTD (Forecast to Deploy). You will work with clients on migration projects, build and maintain databases on Microsoft SQL Server, and utilize SSIS/SSRS/BI Publisher within a data-centric delivery model.

The role requires strong problem solving and excellent written communication to articulate complex issues to stakeholders across business units.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field is required.
5 years working experience with large enterprise applications or systems preferred.
8 years experience in data migration and optimization skills.
Must have experience with large datasets to analyze for accuracy and consistency.
5 years of experience in Data Management and/or IT Systems Management.

Responsibilities

Data Mapping and Migration of Manufacturing Data (Bill of Materials and Routings).
Experience with Bill Materials, Routings, Resources, Workers and Product Master in D365 F&O.
Understand SSIS packages and DMF with Batch handling.
Manage data extraction criteria, data cleansing, and mapping for ETL processes.
Fill templates by the Business for the Construct process.
Resolve load errors (Defects logged in DevOps).
Provide status reporting per functional area as needed.
Engage with business resources per stream to resolve data queries.
