Job summary

Boardroom Appointments is seeking a Data Migration Consultant to lead ETL design, data cleansing, and mapping for complex migrations across multi-location environments. The role requires extensive SQL/SSIS, D365 DMF knowledge, and strong leadership capabilities to coordinate cross-functional teams.

The successful candidate will manage extraction criteria, collaborate with business units, and resolve load defects within a DevOps framework, ensuring accurate data migration for manufacturing data

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science or a related field is required.
• 5 years of experience in data analytics preferred.
• 8 years of experience in data migration or data extraction/analysis preferred.
• 5 years of experience in a multi-location environment with strong leadership/management experience is required.
• SQL/SSIS and D365 Experience are required.

Responsibilities

• Manage, facilitate, and drive the extraction criteria, data cleansing, data object transformation mapping, field mapping and value mapping for the ETL process.
• Guide and facilitate the filling in of the templates by the Business for the Construct process.
• Facilitate Issue resolution where there are load errors (Defects logged in DevOps).
• Status reporting per functional area as and when needed.
• Engage with business resources per stream to resolve data queries.
• Responsible for the Data Mapping and Migration of the Manufacturing Data in the areas of Bill of Materials and Routings.
• Experience of Bill Materials, Routings, Resources, Workers and Product Master in D365 F&O.
• Understanding of the Company Setup in terms of Legal Entities and the linkage of Warehouses, Locations and the related data objects linked to the warehouse setup.
• Understanding SSIS packages as well as the D365 DMF with Batch handling.
