Job summary

Boardroom Appointments seeks a Data Migration Consultant for Rest of Africa (Commercial F&O). You will design and implement solutions to extract data from legacy systems, map data, and support ETL processes within D365 F&O environments.

The role requires experience with the Customer Master and exposure to CE module, SSIS, and DMF, plus a Bachelor’s degree and about 8 years in an F&O commercial setting. Travel and cross-functional collaboration are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Computer Science or a related field.
• 8 years of experience in an F&O commercial environment.
• Data migration experience with access to data sources and systems is preferred.
• Experience with data migration and/or the creation of database environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the Data Mapping and Migration of the Customer Master in D365 F&O.
• Must have worked with the Customer Master in F&O and CE Module as the source of trading customer details interfaced to F&O.
• Understanding SSIS packages and the D365 DMF with Batch handling.
• Manage, facilitate, and drive extraction criteria, data cleansing, object mapping, field mapping and value mapping for the ETL process.
• Manage, facilitate, and drive filling in of templates by the Business for the Construct process.
• Facilitate issue resolution where there are load errors (Defects logged in DevOps).
• Status reporting per functional area as needed.
• Engage with business resources per stream to resolve data queries.
