Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead engineering initiatives in Kimberley. You will oversee planning, execution, and successful completion of complex projects, ensuring alignment with technical specs, budgets, and schedules.

The role requires a Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil engineering background with at least six years of project management experience, strong leadership, and effective risk management skills to drive results in a demanding infrastructure environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil or related Engineering discipline.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in engineering project management.
• Experience managing complex engineered projects from design to commissioning.
• Experience with project lifecycle and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage engineering projects from initiation to closure.
• Develop detailed project plans with schedules, budgets, and resources.
• Coordinate engineering teams, contractors, and consultants to meet milestones.
• Oversee procurement to meet project requirements and standards.
• Communicate progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders and senior management.
