Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead engineering initiatives in Kimberley. You will oversee planning, execution, and successful completion of complex projects, ensuring alignment with technical specs, budgets, and schedules.

The role requires a Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil engineering background with at least six years of project management experience, strong leadership, and effective risk management skills to drive results in a demanding infrastructure environment.

Qualifications

About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled Project Manager specializing in Engineering projects to join their team in Kimberley . This role is responsible for the successful planning, execution, and completion of engineering projects, ensuring they meet technical specifications, budget constraints, and timelines. You will work closely with engineering teams, contractors, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality results. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage engineering projects from initiation to closure, defining project scope, goals, and deliverables.
• Develop detailed engineering project plans , including schedules, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
• Coordinate the activities of engineering teams, contractors, and consultants to ensure project milestones are met.
• Oversee the procurement of materials and services, ensuring compliance with company standards and project requirements.
• Ensure all engineering projects adhere to relevant safety regulations, quality standards, and industry best practices.
• Communicate project progress, risks, and issues effectively to stakeholders and senior management in Kimberley .

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or a related Engineering discipline.
