Placements24 is seeking a results-oriented Project Manager for renewable energy infrastructure projects in Kimberley, Northern Cape. This hybrid role covers full project lifecycles from feasibility through construction, commissioning and handover, with emphasis on safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

You will lead cross-functional teams, manage budgets and procurement, engage stakeholders, and drive continuous improvement in execution and safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil) or related field.
• 7+ years of project management experience in energy/utilities/infrastructure.
• Experience managing large-scale capital projects, preferably renewable energy.
• PM certification (PMP) is advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Develop and execute project plans including scope, budget, schedule, and resources.
• Lead multidisciplinary project teams of engineers, contractors, and consultants.
• Oversee site operations with safety, environmental, and quality compliance.
• Manage procurement: vendor selection, contract negotiations, performance monitoring.
• Monitor progress, mitigate risks, and manage changes.
• Stakeholder liaison with government, communities, and internal departments.
• Prepare and present status reports to senior management.
• Track expenditures and ensure adherence to budget.
• Ensure smooth handover to operations.
• Drive continuous improvement in project execution and safety.
