Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Project Engineer in Tembisa to manage the execution of diverse energy infrastructure projects. You will oversee planning, scheduling, and site activities, ensuring on-time delivery, budget adherence, and high-quality outcomes.

You will work with internal teams, contractors, and suppliers, maintaining a strong focus on safety, regulatory compliance, and stakeholder communication. This hybrid role offers opportunities across Gauteng's energy projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, or Electrical) or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in project engineering, preferably within the energy sector.
• Proven track record of successfully managing complex infrastructure projects on schedule and within budget.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
• Familiarity with South African construction and energy regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage the planning, scheduling, and execution of energy infrastructure projects from inception to completion.
• Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, and suppliers to ensure project milestones are met.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies effectively.
• Ensure all projects adhere to stringent safety regulations, environmental standards, and quality control protocols.
• Prepare regular project status reports and communicate updates to senior management and stakeholders.
• Conduct site inspections and provide technical support during the construction and commissioning phases in Tembisa.
