Job summary

DLK Group in Cape Town is seeking an End User Support Technician to provide technical support and maintenance of end-user computing environments. The successful candidate will support desktops, laptops, tablets, smartphones, and related end-user technologies while ensuring the timely restoration of services and functionality.

This contract role requires 2+ years of IT support experience, relevant technical qualifications, ITIL certification, a valid driver’s licence, and willingness to work

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include a National Diploma or Degree or relevant technical certification (e.g., MCSE).
• ITIL Certification is required.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years’ relevant IT support experience.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel within the metro area.
• Willingness to work 8-hour shifts.
• Physically fit to perform the duties of the role.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for end-user devices (desktops, laptops, tablets, smartphones).
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve hardware and software issues.
• Restore services and functionality promptly.
• Provide field support across locations as required.
• Record, track, manage, and escalate incidents, issues, and risks.
• Maintain effective communication with end users and stakeholders regarding requests and resolutions.
• Adhere to service standards and operational procedures.
