Job summary

Mediclinic Southern Africa is building a talent pool for a Support Resource Officer role to start in January 2027. The position focuses on coordinating patient care and supporting contact centre operations across facilities and services.

You will dispatch vehicles, log and prioritise calls, and provide basic contact centre administration, ensuring timely information flow and compassionate service to patients and clinicians.

Qualifications

• Essential education: Grade 12.
• Desirable education: BAA / Level 3 First Aid Certification.
• Essential experience: Contact Centre / Emergency Contact Centre exposure.
• Desirable experience: 1–3 years dispatching in an EMS contact centre.
• Computer literate (Microsoft Office)

Responsibilities

• Dispatch vehicles according to the CAD system.
• Assist in receiving, prioritise, logging, and processing all calls and alerts received.
• Provide basic contact centre administration.
