Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an energetic Youth Mentor and Program Facilitator in Sandton, Gauteng to engage and guide young people aged 15-25 through structured programs and mentorship. The role emphasizes personal and professional growth, with a focus on leadership, communication, and life skills.

The ideal candidate has a passion for youth empowerment, strong facilitation skills, and a commitment to positive impact.

Qualifications

Relevant qualification in Youth Development, Social Work, Education, Psychology, or related field preferred.
Minimum 2–3 years of direct youth engagement in mentoring, coaching or facilitation.

Responsibilities

Deliver program sessions and workshops for youth aged 15–25.
Provide one-on-one and group mentorship guiding personal development and life skills.
Facilitate activities to enhance communication, leadership, problem solving and teamwork.
Monitor participant progress and provide constructive feedback.
Plan and organize program events, field trips, and outreach activities.
Build positive relationships with youth and families.
Collaborate with coordinators to ensure curriculum adherence.
Identify participant needs and refer to support services as needed.
Contribute to program evaluation through feedback and data collection.
Act as a positive role model with integrity and professionalism.
