Job summary

Prime Medical Casualty Group is seeking an experienced Administrative Manager to oversee all non-clinical functions of the emergency department. You will lead the Administrative Team, manage staffing rosters, and ensure efficient operations, staff development, and compliance with quality standards.

You will coordinate facilities, supplies and external service providers while delivering regular financial and people reports to directors.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Administrative Team.
• Produce monthly roster, manage changes, ensure staffing.
• Train new and existing non-clinical staff.
• Performance management of non-clinical staff.
• Address employee queries and wellbeing.
• Equip staff with uniforms and professional presentation.
• Oversee stationery and administrative supplies.
• Engage external service providers for day‑to‑day operations.
• Monitor process quality and implement improvements.
• Ensure compliance with practice policies and standards.
• Provide regular financial, operational and people reports to directors.
• Coordinate resources and practice assets.
• Liaise with hospital management on non-clinical matters.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and patient experience.
• Promote the practice's image through professional admin service.
• Support leadership in ED management and continuous improvement.
