The role involves clinical shifts at PTA East and N17 branches, active participation in M&M and CPD activities, and collaboration with directors to drive service improvements and patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Medical degree with specialist training in Emergency Medicine (FCEM) and MBChB/MBBCh.
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in Emergency Medicine.
• Experience in governance, risk management, and protocol development is highly desirable.
• Strong teaching, mentorship, and public speaking skills.
• Ability to provide strategic guidance on emergency medicine operations and growth.

Responsibilities

• Telephonic standby for complex ED cases and input as needed.
• Annual review and development of clinical protocols to enhance safety and efficiency.

Prime Medical Casualty Group seeks an experienced Emergency Medicine Physician to join our team. This role is designed for a physician who is passionate about clinical excellence, medical education, and strategic growth in emergency medicine. The physician will provide expert guidance, contribute to clinical governance, and support the professional development of our medical team.

Key Responsibilities:

Clinical Support & Guidance:

• Telephonic standby for complex cases presenting to the Emergency Department (ED), providing expert input as needed.
• Annual review and development of clinical protocols to enhance patient safety and operational efficiency.
• Clinical shifts at our PTA East and N17 branches

Medical Governance & Risk Management:

• Attend monthly Mortality & Morbidity (M&M) meetings in each unit managed by the practice (in-person attendance required).
• Attend monthly Continuous Professional Development (CPD) sessions virtually, ensuring continuous learning and best practices in emergency medicine.
• Provide risk management advice, identifying potential clinical and operational risks while recommending mitigation strategies.
• Present at bi-annual practice conferences, sharing expertise and insights on best practices in emergency medicine.
• Mentor and support clinical staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and clinical excellence.

Strategic Advisory Role:

• Serve as a sounding board for growth strategies and market opportunities.
• Offer insights into best-in-practice strategies and processes to enhance the practice’s service delivery.
• Facilitate networking by connecting Prime Medical Casualty Group with potential partners, healthcare organisations, and industry stakeholders.
• Identify and inform the practice about emerging opportunities in the healthcare industry.

Board-Level Engagements:

• Participate in a minimum of two Directors' Meetings annually, contributing to strategic discussions and decision-making.

Required Qualifications & Experience:
