Job summary

Netcare 911 Roodepoort seeks a registered AEA to provide emergency medical support and patient care in an operational environment. You will complete medical records, manage documentation, and ensure safety protocols are followed on every call.

The role requires up-to-date HPCSA registration, a valid PDRP for passengers, and a Code 10 driving license, with readiness to respond to emergencies and perform life support within scope.

Qualifications

• Current registration with the HPCSA: Professional Board of Emergency Care Personnel as an AEA.
• A valid PDRP for passengers.
• A valid Code 10 Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Complete all company and legal documentation essential in the completion of your duty and provide copies to the Operations Manager.
• Ensure hospital records are completed per internal requirements when a patient is delivered to casualty/emergency units.
• Complete E-Patient Report Forms accurately for every patient treated and paperwork for overtime/leave.
• Respond to emergencies and administer Intermediate Life Support per HPCSA protocols; call for backup when needed.
