Job summary

Netcare 911 is seeking a registered Emergency Care professional to provide rapid response on emergency scenes, deliver high-quality patient care, and document every step of care accurately. You will operate within HPCSA guidelines and hand over patients to hospital staff per protocol.

The role requires current HPCSA registration, a valid Code 10 driver’s license, and a minimum post-graduate exposure to patient care in an operational setting.

Qualifications

• Current registration with the HPCSA: Professional Board of Emergency Care Personnel as a BAA.
• A valid PDRP for passengers.
• A valid Code 10 driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Respond to all emergency calls within one minute and non-emergency calls within three minutes.
• Adhere to HPCSA protocols at all times.
• Accurately document all patients' valuables and hand over to hospital staff as per protocol.
• Ensure safety, cleanliness and stock control of vehicles and equipment.
