Job summary

Hexagon Autonomous Solutions in Johannesburg is seeking a Services Team Lead I, Safety to lead service and support activities for mining safety solutions including CAS, VIS, and OAS systems. This role ensures efficient deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting of safety technologies while upholding compliance and operational excellence.

The position requires strong technical expertise and leadership skills to manage site operations and client engagements.

Qualifications

Minimum 3-5 years in a supervisory or technical support role within mining or industrial environments.
Experience troubleshooting electronic and microprocessor-based systems.
Strong leadership and stakeholder communication skills.

Responsibilities

Supervise day-to-day site operations and coordinate installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of Hexagon technologies (OAS, CAS, VIS, Machine Control systems, OPPRO).
Act as the primary client contact for escalations and ensure service delivery aligns with KPIs and contractual scope.
Provide hands-on technical support for hardware and software systems, including diagnostics and repairs; support RMA collections, demos, and site surveys.
Implement and enforce standard operating procedures across regions to maintain consistency and ensure compliance with DMRE and safety regulations.
Maintain accurate records of site activities and prepare reports for senior management on status and improvement areas.
