Placements24 is seeking an Email Marketing Specialist for a growing e-commerce business in Mossel Bay, Western Cape. The role focuses on crafting compelling email content, managing subscriber databases, and leveraging automation tools for personalized experiences.

The ideal candidate will drive engagement through segmentation, analytics, and best practices, while collaborating with a marketing team in a hybrid work setup in Mossel Bay.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Email Marketing Specialist or similar role.
• Proficiency with email marketing platforms (Mailchimp, HubSpot, Klaviyo).
• Strong copywriting, editing and conversion-driven content creation.
• Understanding of deliverability, segmentation and A/B testing.
• Experience with HTML/CSS for email templates is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and manage email campaigns including newsletters and automated sequences.
• Segment lists by behavior, demographics and purchase history for personalized content.
• Write engaging copy with clear calls-to-action and brand consistency.
• Design responsive email templates across devices and clients.
• Manage email platform and ensure data accuracy and list hygiene.
• Analyze campaigns with metrics and provide optimization recommendations.
• Perform A/B testing on subject lines, content, send times and design elements.
