Placements24 is seeking a highly accomplished Head Coach to lead their elite Professional Rugby Academy based in Cape Town. You will shape player development, instill a winning culture, and implement advanced training methodologies.

You will oversee technical, tactical and physical conditioning, mentor staff, and recruit top talents, ensuring holistic development and progression to professional ranks.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience as Head Coach or high-level assistant in professional or elite rugby.
• Proven track record of developing young talent and achieving team success.
• Deep knowledge of rugby strategy, conditioning and sports science.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement long-term player development programs.
• Lead and mentor coaching staff to foster high performance.
• Design high-intensity sessions focusing on skills, tactics, conditioning.
• Scout and recruit talented players for the academy.
• Oversee player welfare including education and personal growth.
• Collaborate with professional coaching staff on progression and integration.
