Placements24 is seeking an experienced Department Lead for an electronics department in Pretoria, Gauteng. You will manage daily operations, drive sales, oversee inventory, and supervise a team of sales associates to deliver exceptional customer service.

The role requires strong leadership, deep consumer electronics knowledge, and the ability to train and motivate staff while maintaining an organized, visually appealing department. Weekend/holiday availability is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in electronics retail with leadership experience.
• Deep knowledge of consumer electronics and trends.
• Proven track record of meeting sales targets.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Experience with inventory management and POS systems.
• Ability to train and motivate staff.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays.

Responsabilités

• Lead and mentor a team of sales associates within the electronics department.
• Drive sales performance by setting targets, monitoring results, and implementing strategies.
• Ensure exceptional customer service and technical support are provided.
• Manage inventory levels, including ordering, receiving, and stock counts.
• Oversee product merchandising and ensure the department is visually appealing and up-to-date.
• Train staff on new products, sales techniques, and company policies.
• Handle customer escalations and resolve complex issues.
• Maintain department standards for cleanliness and organization.
• Stay abreast of the latest technology trends and product developments.
