Job summary

Qualifications

• Matric (preferred)
• Minimum of 6 months - 1 year’s experience in a similar customer care/service/sales environment
• Email handling / Web chat experience (highly advantageous)
• Experience in retail, consumer electronics, appliances, or similar industry (highly advantageous)
• Proven experience delivering excellent customer service to internal and external customers
• Maintain operational performance, quality, regulatory and compliance standards

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer care to the existing customer base.
• Safeguard, develop and enhance customer loyalty by delivering excellent customer care and promoting significant products and services.
• Respond to and resolve inbound customer and colleague queries related to consumer electronics/appliances.
• Support queries to identify, qualify and close new sales opportunities.
• Understand customer reasons for requiring product support and resolve queries via remote resolution or escalate per process.
• Strive for First Call Resolution on every contact.
• Diagnose and resolve first line issues.
• Collaborate with Customer Care colleagues to raise service standards and share best practices.
• Undertake customer administration and product processing activities to maximise operational effectiveness
• Develop your Customer Care skills and knowledge, adhering to client standards and regulatory requirements
• Ask right questions and provide solutions that leave customers satisfied; embrace the fast-moving electronics business
• Address complaints and handle objections; troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently
