Job summary

TP in Cape Town seeks a customer care specialist to deliver exceptional service to our electronics customers across channels. You will resolve queries, promote products, and help build loyalty while following client guidelines and standards.

You will handle inquiries, provide knowledge-based support, and strive for first contact resolution to ensure a positive customer experience in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Matric (preferred)
• 6 months to 1 year experience in customer care/service/sales environment
• Email handling and web chat experience advantageous
• Experience in retail, consumer electronics, appliances or similar industry advantageous
• Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service to internal and external customers
• Maintain operational performance, quality, regulatory and compliance standards

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional Customer Care to the existing customer base.
• Safeguard, develop and enhance customer loyalty by providing excellent Customer Care and promoting significant products/services.
• Respond to and resolve inbound queries related to consumer electronics/appliances.
• Support queries to identify, qualify and close new sales opportunities.
• Diagnose and resolve first-line issues and strive for First Call Resolution.
• Collaborate with Customer Care colleagues to raise service standards and share best practices.
• Undertake customer administration and product processing activities to maximise efficiency.
