Placements24 is seeking an Automation Electrical Engineer to enhance our client's industrial operations in Polokwane. You will design, implement, and maintain automated control systems that optimise production processes using PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA.

You will collaborate with production, engineering, and maintenance teams, specify components, commission new automation solutions, and document electrical schematics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in industrial automation and control systems engineering.
• Proficiency in PLC programming and HMI/SCADA development.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and program industrial automation systems, including PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA.
• Specify and select electrical components and control hardware for automation projects.
• Implement and commission new automation solutions and integrate them with existing systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and automation-related issues on the production floor.
