Job summary

Inuka Partners is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support the development and execution of utility-scale solar PV and battery storage projects. The role focuses on electrical design, technical assessments, due diligence, and coordination with engineering, procurement, and project delivery teams.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Electromechanical Engineering.
• 4+ years of electrical/electromechanical engineering experience in renewable energy contexts.
• Experience with PVSyst, AutoCAD, and SolarGIS datasets.
• Exposure to high-voltage networks, substations, and utility-scale solar PV design/execution.
• Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent in Portuguese and English; Spanish is advantageous.
• Willingness to travel internationally and work on project sites.

Responsibilities

• Conduct energy yield assessments and evaluate project feasibility.
• Support electrical design, technical specs, and system design packages.
• Review technical docs, PPAs, grid codes, and connection agreements.
• Support technology selection, technical due diligence, and supplier evaluations.
• Coordinate with utilities, contractors, suppliers, and project teams.
• Review engineering designs and monitor construction execution.
• Assist with site visits, testing, commissioning and project close-out.
