Job summary

Inuka Partners is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support the development and execution of utility-scale solar PV and battery storage projects. The role focuses on electrical design, technical assessments, due diligence, and coordination with engineering, procurement, and project delivery teams.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Electromechanical Engineering.
• 4+ years of electrical/electromechanical engineering experience in renewable energy contexts.
• Experience with PVSyst, AutoCAD, and SolarGIS datasets.
• Exposure to high-voltage networks, substations, and utility-scale solar PV design/execution.
• Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent in Portuguese and English; Spanish is advantageous.
• Willingness to travel internationally and work on project sites.

Our client is a renewable energy company seeking an Electrical Engineer to support project development and execution. The role will focus on electrical design, technical assessments, due diligence, and coordination with engineering, procurement, and project delivery teams.

Responsibilities

• Conduct preliminary and detailed energy yield assessments and evaluate project feasibility.
• Support electrical design, technical specifications, and system design packages.
• Review technical documentation, PPAs, grid codes, and connection agreements.
• Support technology selection, technical due diligence, and supplier evaluations.
• Coordinate with utilities, contractors, suppliers, and project teams.
• Review engineering designs and monitor implementation during construction.
• Support site visits, testing, commissioning, and project close-out.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Electromechanical Engineering.
• 4+ years of electrical or electromechanical engineering experience, including experience in renewable energy, project environments, and distribution or reticulation design.
• Experience with PVSyst, AutoCAD, and solar resource datasets such as SolarGIS.
• Exposure to high-voltage networks, substations, and utility-scale solar PV project design and execution.
• Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent Portuguese and English; Spanish is advantageous.
• Willingness to travel internationally and work on project sites as required.
