Job summary

Acdc Dynamics South Africa is seeking a motivated counter salesperson to greet customers, answer queries, and take orders at the trade counter. You will use your electrical background to inform customers and provide accurate quotations while maintaining a tidy counter and high service standards.

Responsibilities include handling telephonic quotations, loading orders into the system, following up on back orders, stock availability, and keeping brochures up to date.

Qualifications

• Experience in counter sales or retail sales environments.
• Ability to inform customers using product knowledge and electrical background.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to handle queries and quotations.

Responsibilities

• Greeting customers and taking orders.
• Possessing excellent product knowledge to inform and increase sales.
• Following up on orders to prevent delay and frustration.
• Ensuring a clean and tidy counter.
• Ensuring that each customer leaves the store satisfied.
• Assist all customers at the counter with their queries.
• Must treat all customers with respect and courtesy.
• Counter Sales including Quotations & Queries.
• Load / Capture all sales orders and quotations on the computer system.
• Manage all back orders and follow up regularly.
• Advise customers of stock availability.
• Regularly monitor all quotes given.
