Job summary

Placements24 in Mahikeng, North West, seeks an Educational Technology Integration Specialist to lead the school's digital learning initiatives. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Educational Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in educational technology, instructional design, or related role in an educational setting.
• Proven experience in providing technology training and support to educators.
• In-depth knowledge of LMS and educational software.
• Strong understanding of pedagogical principles and how technology enhances them.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Support and train educators in the effective use of educational technologies and digital tools.
• Identify, evaluate, and recommend new educational technologies to enhance teaching and learning.
• Assist in the development and implementation of school-wide technology integration plans.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for educational software and hardware.
• Develop and deliver workshops and professional development sessions on educational technology best practices.
• Collaborate with curriculum developers to integrate technology into lesson plans.
• Research emerging trends in educational technology and advise on their potential application.
• Manage and maintain digital learning platforms and resources.
