Job summary

Cashbuild Limited in Seshego, Polokwane invites applications for an Edge bander & Pothole Operator. The role focuses on edging and drilling to meet customer estimations, timelines, and quality standards while minimizing losses and avoiding machinery breakdowns.

Applicants should have a Grade 12 or equivalent (NQF 4); carpentry or machine operation experience is advantageous. Must be able to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays, and perform basic calculations under pressure.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or equivalent (NQF 4) qualification.
• 2 years carpentry experience would be advantageous.
• 1 year experience with cutting/edging & drilling machinery would be advantageous.
• Ability to perform basic calculations accurately.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Customer service: advise customers on products and assist with queries and complaints.
• Safety: ensure OHSA compliance and machinery safety standards.
• Loss prevention and security: prevent theft and ensure proper documentation.
• Cutting and edging: calibrate machines to cutting lists, minimise wastage and perform maintenance.
