Job summary

Diageo is seeking a Sales Manager - Eastern Cape to lead a high-performance On-Trade sales team in Port Elizabeth and drive market share. You will execute the formal On-Trade strategy, plan quarterly activities, and measure performance against KPIs.

You will recruit and coach team members, manage the budget, and build strong relationships with key customers and redistributors, collaborating with brand marketing and HR.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Management or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of sales experience with people leadership.
• Commercial FMCG experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead a highly effective On-Trade sales team to win market share.
• Execute the Formal On-Trade Strategy and quarterly sales plans.
• Measure sales out performance and manage the team budget.
• Recruit, coach and motivate staff for high performance.
• Build relationships with key On-Trade and Redistributor customers.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders including Marketing, National Accounts and HR.
