Job summary

Port Elizabeth, South Africa-based Diageo seeks a Sales Manager to lead a high-performing On-Trade sales team in the Eastern Cape. You will guide the execution of the On-Trade strategy, drive quarterly sales plans, and build pivotal relationships with key customers and redistributors to grow market share.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Business Management, a valid driver’s license, and 3–5 years sales leadership experience, with FMCG exposure considered advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Management or equivalent.
• Valid Driver's license.
• 3-5 years sales experience including people leadership.
• Commercial FMCG experience advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of On-Trade sales representatives to win market share.
• Plan quarterly sales activities to meet KPIs.
• Measure and review sales out performance.
• Build relationships with On-Trade and Redistributor customers.
• Manage sales budget and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Recruit, coach and develop a high-performing team.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Customer/Brand Marketing, Reserve, National Accounts, Off Trade, Sales OPS and HR).
