Job summary

Xelvin invites E&I Technicians from South Africa to start a new chapter in the Netherlands. The role focuses on electrical, instrumentation and control systems within industrial environments, with relocation and full support provided.

We offer a 1–2 year contract, full relocation assistance, visa sponsorship guidance, and housing support to help you settle and grow with Dutch clients. Dutch lessons and ongoing professional opportunities are included.

Qualifications

• Speak Afrikaans and English well
• Trade qualification in Electrical/Instrumentation required
• Experience as E&I/Instrumentation/Control & Instrumentation/Electrical Technician
• Experience in industrial, manufacturing, energy, mining or process environments
• Knowledge of PLCs, control systems, drives or industrial automation is a strong advantage
• Hands-on, safety-focused and able to work with maintenance, production and project teams

We are looking for practical Electrical & Instrumentation Technicians who enjoy working in industrial environments, solving technical problems and keeping complex installations running safely and reliably.

You could be a good fit if you:

• Speak Afrikaans and English well
• Have a relevant trade qualification, Red Seal, N4/N5/N6, Diploma or similar qualification in Electrical, Instrumentation or Control & Instrumentation
• Have experience as an E&I Technician / Instrumentation Technician / Electrical Technician / C&I Technician
• Have experience in industrial, manufacturing, chemical, energy, mining, utilities or process environments
• Can work with electrical and instrumentation systems, sensors, transmitters, control valves, motors, panels and field equipment
• Have experience with fault finding, calibration, inspections, testing, maintenance and troubleshooting
• Can read electrical drawings, loop diagrams, P&IDs, wiring diagrams and technical documentation
• Have knowledge of PLCs, control systems, drives, LV/MV installations or industrial automation, which is a strong advantage
• Are hands‑on, safety‑focused and able to work well with maintenance, production and project teams
• Are motivated to work abroad and grow long‑term in the Netherlands
